Tearfund is a Christian relief and development charity called to follow Jesus where the need is greatest. We are a charity registered in England and Wales (number 265464) and Scotland (SCO 37624). Our company number is 994339 and our registered office is 100 Church Road, Teddington, TW11 8QE.
To shop with us you must be a resident of the United Kingdom, 13 or over, have a credit or debit card that we accept and be authorised to use that credit card. We don’t accept orders from outside of the UK.
Placing an order
The price of the product (which includes VAT if payable) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. We only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card. When you place an order, you should receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. If you haven’t received a confirmation (check your spam too just in case!) then get in touch with us via email – email@example.com.
All orders are subject to availability, but don’t worry we’ll be in touch if there’s an issue.
We try our hardest to get you your order within the stated delivery time, but sometimes there may be delays – e.g. because of postal/carrier delays, logistics or bad weather.
The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you on our website.
We will deliver the items to you as soon as reasonably possible usually within a week and in any event within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order.
If our supply of the items is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any items you have paid for but not received.
If after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect them from a delivery depot we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection we may end the contract.
Items will be your responsibility from the time we deliver them to the address you gave us
Returns and Refunds
In the unlikely event of you purchasing a faulty item, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll sort it out for you.
We’d encourage you to make sure you like the item enough when you buy it, and also use the size guide to ensure you get a great fit, but if you need to return the item for any reason we accept returns as long as an item is still in its original condition and can be resold.
If you return an item requesting a refund within 28 days of the item being delivered to you or available for collection, we’ll give you a full refund by way of the original payment method, minus the origin postage costs. We will pay the costs of return if the items are faulty or misdescribed by the least expensive method we offer. Please include a note with your full name, address and order number. If it’s an exchange, please state the new size you’d like to be sent. We only take responsibility for the item when it’s back in our care so you may want to request a proof of postage from your carrier. We offer free UK shipping for the piece that will be reissued.
All refunds and returns should be posted to:
